Welcome to the Bundles, Freebies, and Sales News, the weekly column at EN World that helps make sure you don’t miss out on big tabletop RPG bundles, charity fundraisers, and sales from around the internet.
Freebies and Pay What You Want
Note: While “Pay What You Want” downloads are available for free, please support the creators if you are able!
This week we start on D&D Beyond with the level 16 (yes, level 16) official Dungeons & Dragons adventure Giants of the Star Forge. A tie-in to Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants, this rare high-level adventure sends the party after the smith Theldin who has been kidnapped by the fire giant Brimskarda to attempt to create a titanic war machine called a runic colossus.
And with Baldur’s Gate 3 finally out (and most people able to actually download it thanks to server overload), D&D Beyond also has custom dice based on the game and character sheets for the companion characters (though be careful reading the backgrounds on the sheets as there are spoilers for the video game).
Over on DriveThruRPG, Schawlb Entertainment has a quick play for the highly anticipated Shadow of the Weird Wizard, the more family-friendly version of Shadow of the Demon Lord coming to Kickstarter next week.
Evil Genius Games has an adventure from their vast licensed catalogue for the Everyday Heroes RPG with the adventure Prologue: Rambo. Former Green Beret John Rambo has just 24 hours to clear the name of one of his number in a corrupt small town and bring hellfire down on those in his way.
Caeora has three new token packs as part of the Creature Pack collection. Creature Pack 22 features a dozen frog creatures, Creature Pack 23 has eight character tokens, and Creature Pack 24 is a lich. Each token comes in two versions, one with and one without a shadow.
And for more VTT fun, ForgottenAdventures has a collection of clutter for tables in your game, featuring fancy plates and tea service, food packaging, sweet treats, board games, and if you want to get meta, a table full of TTRPG accessories.
Cool Zone Press released the urban fantasy RPG We Hunt By Night: Expanded Edition, a rules-light d6 dice pool system that places an emphasis on the balance between your human and supernatural sides.
Over on Dungeonmasters Guild, Vanessa Stefaniuk has Mildly Magical Trinkets - Set 1: Dorm Days with a d100 table of mildly magical items suitable for any fantasy campaign but especially useful for a Strixhaven campaign.
For even more magic items, Julian O’Connor released Florence’s Fibers, Firearms, and Fantastics featuring a multiversal travelling merchant with a variety of items adjusted to the appropriate time period for the player characters’ universe.
And even more magic items, Ethan Myers posted Kakor’s Creepy Curios, a collection of 500 (no that’s not a typo, 500) undead-inspired monster and artifact ideas, NPC encounters, and spooky locations organized as a random table.
Harkening back to classics like Barrier Peaks, Gabriel Gro has a new adventure Stellar Abductions featuring a flying saucer and aliens including Spelljammer stats for the flying saucer and a stat block for a “Mini Tarrasque”. Which sounds somehow more terrifying than a full-size one.
Sewage Orc has a settlement ready to place in your campaign, Mirthwood Hollow (A Goblin Themed Settlement with a complete guide to the village, shops and businesses, local attractions, NPCs, adventure hooks, side quests, and more.
On Storytellers Vault, we have Loresheet: Gift of Eglė from Lex Noctis with Vampire: The Masquerade rules for playing as a Kindred with a spiritual and mystical connection to a single tree.
We have two lightning rounds this week, the first covering 5e options for new races/species/heritages. As always, each product on the list is either free or pay what you want with the suggested price in parentheses.
And for our second lightning round, this time a collection of classes and subclasses. As before, each one is either free or pay what you want with the suggested price in parentheses.
