What would be a good cost for armor which when activated does 1d6 energy damage to someone trying to grab or grapple or hit the wearing of the armor with slams, tenticals etc. +1, +2?.

I was thinking the other way around ... energy armor that absorbs 1d6 in physical dmg every time you're hit, or converts that much to subdual dmg.
cool either way though, if you use electricity you might want to call it 'static' armor (material components a rug+socks=shocking grasp > cat ... you should get the picture ...)
