That last dude looks like a rock and roll star. I think its difficult when you produce so much detail, such that you have to make them modest with a loin cloth, versus less detail leaving the viewer to use their imagination, e.g. the Balrog in LOTR.

One thing I never realized, Balor was the name used because they couldn't use Balrog.

Original OD&D had Balrogs, Hobbits, and Ents.

After certain communications new printings of OD&D and D&D from then on had Balors, Halflings, and Treants. :)
