The funny thing is, and people seem to forget this. DND combat assumes even when you’re moving or being attacked you are actively trying to avoid being hit. You are dodging slightly pairing somewhat. It is built into your AC.

What was the built-in fan base? I’m not a gamer (haven’t even played WoW) and I assumed it was a new game from scratch. I don’t realize it came from another property.

I don’t know about D&D as a whole, but 100% disagree with regards to 5e. We have had the most fun playing 5e and I wouldn’t trade that for all the other TTRPGs combined.

I don’t play the wizard, but my DM has said that he is the most powerful wizard in the world. So he is basically unique (as we all are really). So I would say that understanding guides how you play him. I do know he seems to have a lot fewer spells than what people around here seem to have...

Oh it is very easy. It is mostly just an exercise in subtraction/ removal. It doesn’t get much easier than that IMO!

I like the general idea, but it does seem the coast should be greater in time, slots, ability, or all of the above. I will talk to my DM about some nerfing house rules (if he hasn’t already looked at it).
