D&D has always been a stew of ideas. That's always been it's biggest strength.

I'm looking forward to reading how they incorporate Cthulhu into Ravenloft before passing judgement on the idea. I use these books as inspiration for my own imagination, not some carved in stone scripture that must be followed to the letter of the law.
