Same opinion. Scaling boom spells are less broken than 3E and 5E save DCs. Remember Warmage being OP in 3.5? Neither do I. 2E fireball probably to good. 3.0/3.5 decent and ok.

Long time ago I put alert in S tier. I regard the magic initiate feats as S tier as well. Ymmv. Cant think of an S tier wizard cantrip. Guidance, Sorcererous Burst and Eldritch Blast are better cantrips. Still S overall but yeah probably the weakest.

Playing from low level fighter 7 then wizards a lot smoother than Valor/BS. Less MAD as well. Action surge+2 cantrips as well.

I think the original sin lies with 3.0 and how saves scale. 4E used the nuke it approach but threw the baby out with the bath water. 6 saves. We are stuck with them until 6E. Go back to 3 imho add youre level to all saves or something. Landing them reliably should require debuffs imho...

Very here and has been long as I can remember. McDonald's does a kiwiburger with beetroot and egg. Not a big fan. A "deluxe" (various names) burger has egg, bacon, pineapple. Common in fish and chip shops. Restaurants often do egg+bacon. Chicken burgers need bacon and/or a good sauce...

This. I had to reread it a few times. Ek 7, BS6 looks interesting. You miss out on third attack though so its not a strict upgrade.

Cultural thing here is add egg to a burger. And beetroot. I dont like the beetroot option myself but dont complain if you dont say hold the beetroot at new places.

My OP is getting the cantrip via EK. I could get hex from fae touched. Haven't made official house rule yet but I kinda ignore the restrictions on VSM for various subclasses. RAI vs RAW. RAW you can make it work still with strict DM.

Its often having 3 or 4 high scores. I had a great monk in 5.0. Good stats, wood elf. Same deal with barbarian and new Sorcerer. Potentially AC 19 or 20 naked very early on.

I always take as is. I'm guessing thats well done.
