Demeo is pretty damn fun and I HATE games like MtG and other deckbuilding games, I've had it for years on VR. The play reminds me of games like Heroquest and Descent. I'm looking forward to having actual D&D content in my Demeo game.

To be honest, 5E characters do quite well without magical gear. As an NPC, I'd actually suggest NOT giving him any special gear. This might encourage the PCs to donate excess magical gear to the NPC to enhance their abilities (and perhaps gain favor).

"The Alchemist" would be a good excuse to put some stat blocks in for NPC Artificers, methinks....and maybe even a "sample" Artificer's bastion (where the Apparatus is being hid, but useful for players once its cleaned out/the adventure is over).

Are you intending for the Rogue to be able to use Evasion to dodge bullets? If you want Martials to do it better, you might want to consider making the save Constitution instead of Dexterity.
