I wouldn’t be the one doing the moving, thank goodness! But I still have to clean off & empty everything in the way, and that’s a solo job that will take me some time.

Today brings news of MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. Back in 2014, I completely replaced my many decades-old bedroom set. When we bought it, we didn’t realize how much bigger it was than the set it replaced. Essentially, it could only fit in my room one way, and the pieces had to go in in a certain...

That building is virtually empty, from what I understand. I think some of the floors aren’t even completed.

Yeah, pretty much. It’s kind of the musical instrument version of soda vs pop vs soft drink vs etc. Like “soft drink” or “ soda” is the most formal name for non-alcoholic carbonated beverages, “violin” is the formal instrument name. “Fiddle” is a nickname, and can be applied to any member of...

The hardanger? It’s definitely its own thing. I think they originated in Northern Europe.

    Anticipatory Grief

I haven’t been present for the deaths of all my pets, but I have for all but one over the past 20 years*. It hurts- I’m tearing up a bit as I write this- but I personally think they were comforted by my hugs, pats & words. * she passed in her sleep, cookie under her paw.
