I have created an Excel based A5e encounter calculator. This will allow you to enter the character level and number of characters in the party, then show you the difficulty levels. From there, you can choose up to 4 different creatures, decide how many there will be, and compare the total to the difficulty levels.
Once you have selected your creatures, you can then select it and create a stat block. This sheet can be altered as you see fit.
