D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

So here is my version of Iuz showing all three of his forms, 1. the Weak Old Man, 2. The Demon, 3. The Handsome Young Man. Each supports a purpose to this paragon of Chaos and Evil. I don't have a Natural Language Prompt as I was feeding my GPT Assistant information on Iuz, his parents, and his three forms.

I then had it ask me questions to flesh out the design of the Fiend of the North. Ultimately I chose to use late medieval Byzantine and Mughal Empire fashion and cultural elements to make the design step out and away from the typical Western European art style that dominates our fantasy illustrations.

I did have to do some cleanup of a few artifacts with Photoshop's generative remove and then I used generative expand to extend out the image to complete to the two outer parts of the triptych.

I think it turned out amazing.

The Trinity of Iuz.png

GENERATED PROMPT: A triptych character study of the demigod Iuz, blending late medieval Byzantine and Mughal Empire fashion and cultural elements. The first panel depicts Iuz in his Weak and Wizened Old human form, dressed in subdued Byzantine-inspired attire with hints of Mughal influence, like intricate embroidery or patterns. The middle panel shows Iuz's tall and imposing Demonic Form, with wings stretching out into the other two panels, featuring elements of Byzantine armor or ceremonial garb and Mughal royal and military motifs, in a dark, menacing redesign. The third panel presents Iuz as a Handsome Young Man, wearing lavish, detailed Byzantine and Mughal blended attire, reflective of both empires' luxurious styles. The background of each panel should be thematic and enhance the character's narrative, using a color palette that reflects his chaotic and evil nature.

Did some studies around a painting I have as my phone's background (and hanging on my wall too). Starting with sketches, then paintings, and then getting more ornamental. They're all neat/nice, and I think the paintings overall are my fav for their atmosphere and rich colours.

Really like these, do you have the prompts?

From 1E Rofue gallery, Fletcher Dandairla (Player: Bob Waldbauer)

Fletcher has been a wanderer all his life, seldom staying in an area for more than one or two adventures. Originally serving as a mercenary in many different lands, he gained a reputation as a heartless adversary and
this ruthless side of his character remained as he matured. He constantly keeps one eye to the future and will
sometimes act in ways that seem out of keeping with his character. In actuality, though, he has some plan in mind
for how it will benefit him in the days ahead. It was in this way that he became a bard. At the same time, he is
sociable and will often spend time In an inn or a public house, demonstrating his storytelling skill.
When adventuring, Fletcher is usually quiet and reserved as he tries to plan the best course of action for himself. On occasion his temper will flare and then he will not shirk from a fight. His instincts lead him to support the under- d og and often cause him to aid the weaker when they are threatened

Last one for the night. Here is a portrait of Mordenkainen The Mage (about 12th level at this point) before he became a Planes Walking Archmage. Also, I am using the description of him from WG5 Mordenkainen's Fantastic Adventure and not the "Ming The Merciless" version that WotC created back in 3rd Edition. It was a crime in my eyes back then and I still dislike it today.

WG5 Description of Mordenkainen, pg. 30: Mordenkainen appears to be a middle-aged man bedecked in simple grey robes, perhaps resembling a merchant. His face suggests age beyond his normal appearance, as if wisdom were a part of his charisma, thrusting out upon those that stand near him almost as much as do his bushy eyebrows. His hair is black and cropped, his beard black with silver streaks and well waxed. Mordenkainen has come well-prepared with many items.

GENERATED PROMPT: A full-body portrait of a middle-aged human male wizard named Mordenkainen. He has a wise, experienced face with bushy black eyebrows, short black hair, and a well-groomed black beard with silver streaks. He is wearing elegant grey robes, dark green leather bracers adorned with golden glowing mystic runes, and has an ornate dagger sheathed at his side. On his belt, he carries a leather side pouch and various smaller leather pouches. The background features an arcane library, illuminated by magical, heatless candle flames, creating a mystical ambiance. His expression is mischievous, reflecting his personality. The art style is realistic.

*While post Gygax TSR and later WotC put the stronghold in the Yatil Mountains, Gygax himself said that it was near the Horned Society in Oerth Journal 12, Thus Spake Gary Gygax: Ye Secrets of Oerth Revealed, by Paul Stromberg, from Paul's email correspondence with Gary.

Gygax further mentioned that the Circle of Eight were originally all his PCs (well some were NPCs originally) and when they reached a certain level and wealth, they pooled their treasure and, "located a place for a stronghold deep in enemy territory to assure plenty of action, and then went to work building the citadel." - Gary Gygax: Q & A (Part IV, Page 9). After tonight's session, Dimble the gnome artificer got himself some mithril plate armor. Check him out!

Dimble 3.jpg

I had to use nine of my boosts to get this because it just did not want to put him in full plate for some reason.

This is the prompt that produced the winning result: A full length portrait of a short thin tanned middle-aged shy male gnome tinkerer artificer. He has wild grey hair, a grey goatee, and blue eyes. Silvery medieval full plate armor covers his entire body. He stands in an action pose with two gauntleted hands held up, palms facing the camera. The gauntlets hum with sonic energy. A magical defensive field surrounds his armor. He vaguely resembles Tony Stark. Drawn in a gritty Marvel comic book art style.

Also, how do you guys get Bing Chat to develop a prompt for you? Every time I ask it for help developing a prompt, it just jumps straight to creating an image based on what I've written.
