After you have stated your position clearly, not once, not twice, but three or more times... and the other side still disagree, why do you (both of you) keep going and going and going?

Sexual tension.

So, that person you're arguing with is being a jerk to you and they're saying they're not being one specifically so you will stick around and let them abuse you more. Put them on ignore. Their whole point in being here is to be hurtful within what they believe are the bounds of moderation.

Oh, sorry...I misunderstood. When you asked me to describe my experience with that particular product, I thought you actually wanted to hear about my experience. That was very silly of me. Had I bothered to read the thread, I would have seen you really only wanted to complain about that product, and were looking for people who agreed with you.

My mistake. I'll leave you to it.

Yeah. I find that the ignore function works great in a few scenarios-

1. A small and select group that I have on perma-ignore for reasons.

2. People that are so far beyond the pale that I'm just like, "Nope!" Usually, they get banned in a while, so it's not like they are on the list for that long.

3. Or if I find myself writing some angry response, I'll just put the other person on a brief timeout until the emotion fades. Because I'd rather use ignore briefly than write something I'll regret.

Enough with (+) threads. It's high time someone was honest enough to try and post a (-) thread.

Possible reasonable use for AI - Recognizing writing patterns to automatically put sock puppets on ignore.
