I don't remember the source, but the attached pic is some fan art for thri-kreen, and perhaps my favorite representation of the race.

Oh, and found a better quality version of the 2e pic.

In the interview with James Wyatt, I believe it was mentioned that Shamans could function in the role of 2e elemental clerics.
Yeah, I wouldn't read much anything into the omission of Shamans from that list.

It was only a chat after all, not a meticulously prepared and vetted press release.

Bold decision on removing Divine.
But with martial, arcane, primal and psionic alternatives that for the first time are fully developed, it was only a matter of time before we would see "here's a world without X"

Divine is no longer essential. A good thing, and great to see it's being used.

But bold? Perhaps a bit, but not too much... :)

You seem to have heard a rumor about Dragonlance. Do not expect to get confirmation on 2011's campaign setting until perhaps eight months from now.

And don't be too disappointed if it isn't Dragonlance.

My comment above was meant as tongue-in-cheek. Everything we have heard in Dragonlance circles says that Dragonlance won't be seen until 2012, if then. So we Dragonlance die-hards have no delusions that we'll see our beloved setting anytime soon.

Besides, I'd rather be left with the legacy that Margaret Weis Productions set down for us.

I imagine we will be seeing a new setting in 2011.
