D&D General 'War Wizard' is a new Dragonlance novel from Weis & Hickman

Maybe because they torched the setting into something unrecognizable.

D&D General 'War Wizard' is a new Dragonlance novel from Weis & Hickman

Sounds interesting enough but wish they would write about future events and new characters instead of alway revisiting the past.

Wes Schneider is the product lead for Ravenloft: The Horrors Within

I have read this tired narrative quite a bit. Some of my groups favorite adventures since 5E came out were horror adventures. All modules off the DMs Guild of varying quality. Horror is an atmosphere that a decent DM can cultivate regardless of the system. Heroic or high fantasy does not...

D&D General Melf's Guide to Greyhawk coming from Luke Gygax & WotC

That would be nice. Maybe a little more gritty turn in what they put out.

WotC WotC Winter 2026 D&D Community Survey

I wonder how helpful these surveys really are. I suspect they overly represent people who are angry or have negative feelings and under represent those who are more satisfied.

    Free League Announces Dragonbane: Trudvang

Wonder if the the world/setting book is system neutral. Not interested in Dragonbane but always interested in mining a setting book.

    D&D 5E (2024) Steel & Skill: The Complete Fighter's Field Guide

I loved these books in 2E and would definitely support this project. Though I would like the Wizards handbook or caster handbook to include Sorcerer a Warlock, even more.

    DriveThruRPG Print-on-Demand Prices Increasing Again

How long ago was that? I have printed 3 books from Lulu in the past 24 months and they are far better quality that Lightning Source.

D&D 5E (2024) Is WOTC done publishing campaigns?

Based on over 30 years experience as a DM and player I agree. Sandboxes can be a lot of fun but they are a lot of work and it is pretty common for the DM, players or both to lose the plot or tension that make the game compelling.

WotC Shawn Merwin joins Wizards as contract game designer

One year seems pretty brief. Wonder if he is just being brought in to work on one specific project.

    DriveThruRPG Print-on-Demand Prices Increasing Again

Same here. Drivethru PoD is garbage. If I really like a project like that I may back at the PDF and print it through Lulu but I have to feel motivated.

WotC Shawn Merwin joins Wizards as contract game designer

Ghostfire has done some pretty great projects. Hopefully this bodes well for some fresh ideas at WoTC.

    DriveThruRPG Print-on-Demand Prices Increasing Again

I don’t mind the price increases just wish they were also improving the quality. The color saturation and binding are still pretty poor even compared to POD places like Lulu.

RPG Print News – Traveller, Mothership, Twilight Imperium RPG, and More

I wish Legendary Games would do a hardback Dragons Hoards compendium. They have enough material by now.

Spoilers Stranger Things Season 5 - SPOILERS

Exactly. They seemed to be having a fun time with friends. Can’t have a better game than that.
