One item on my to do list is to make spears more attractive as a weapon choice. They really do tend to get overlooked in the game, and it's not like they're some obscure 14th century polearm that was only used for a few decades in a tiny principality in the Holy Roman Empire or something.

Highlander 3 is probably the second best movie, but that's a VERY low bar to clear. It has two main problems, a goofy for the EVULZ villain and it exists completely outside the show's continuity.

I've never run 5e, but I would roll if I did, just like every other edition. Experienced players are likely to know the average hp, and I prefer presenting uncertainties to them. They're likely to ballpark a rough estimate anyway, but why should I make it easy for them? Gives 'em something to...
