Agreed. Fantastic thread! I don't believe it's been mentioned yet in this thread (could be wrong), but the Tomb of Horrors figures very prominently in "Ready Player One", an amazing book by Ernest Cline. Wil Wheaton does the audio book narration, which is how I enjoyed it. Ready Player One

The point of this thread isn't about what Gary should have done. It's about how to survive the module as it is written.

For the sake of conviction, RCK will be remembered, as the months and years go by, as the guy who ruined many scores of conversations by deleting his portion of the dialog. Not the legacy he had intended, but the one he chose.

In the list of the different monster roles in the Gamma World book, "soldier" is notably absent. I think this is great; I tend to replace soldiers with brutes to speed up combat, and it looks like the devs might have had a similar motivation.

Anybody have any insight as to why the two different types of cards have the same card back design? It's important that players draw from the correct decks, but with the GM having two decks, and each player optionally having two decks, it would be so much cleaner if the Alpha deck and the Omega...

That sounds like a bad idea. You'll be stacking unnecessary meta context on top of unnecessary meta context. It's really a cultural thing that isn't appropriate here. I can appreciate that it is necessary elsewhere, but we're not there.
