I think it's because the discussions all have scores of zero. It's the downvoting I guess. If I'd disabled downvoting, there would be no negative totals, so that wouldn't happen.

Well, obviously. Over 7 billion people haven't blocked you. That's not really the argument you think it is. If substantially more than average numbers of people block you, the odds are it's you, not them.
