I have never run one of those. The closest I’ve come is running one adventure from the Savage Tide AP (the second!) back in 3.xE days before events drew us off the path requiring me to readjust everything.

I wonder where you saw that. My friends and I had a zine around that time and one of them wrote an article using Conan as the example of "a progressively more experienced multiclass character" as a way to explain/get hyped about the 3E rules as soon as we got the PHB after a year of salivating...

Pretty sure becoming a supporter already removes ads. Also, I think the very first crowdfunder I ever supported was for an ENWorld upgrade but that might have been over a decade ago already - time has no meaning.

Money's tight for me right now or else I would just become a supporter (though I do wish there was a discount for paying the yearly rate rather than the monthly rate).

This may be what was happening to me. I am on a laptop and did a Chrome update earlier that same day or maybe the night before - and was wondering if that what made the ads "suddenly" appear. I always saw the sidebar ads (which don't hover).

Maybe I just never noticed them before or my browser configuration changed, but starting yesterday I started seeing pop up ads hovering over the actual content at the bottom of the screen and in the bottom right. I can "X" them out (which is fine, I don't begrudge ENWorld needing to serve ads)...

I've got a naked hill giant sculpt I got off Etsy that is completely naked and anatomically correct. I don't think I can share a pic on here without violating board policies, but if you scroll far enough back on my instagram you'll find him. a "Rate My Professor" style site but for ENWorld posters (no chili peppers) would be actually helpful.

My current plan is for the first time to be "free" but a check is rolled every time after the first. Maybe something like a saving throw based on your casting ability score against DC ??. I was considering have the check get harder each time you cast a particular cantrip more than once - but...
