It’s the jelly cubes for me.

D&D (2024) Alternate 2024 DMG Cover features Lolth!

Clearly a Spiderman pose, so, yet another marvel cover rip-off... also the colour purple, we all know that purple is bad, right? I'm just kidding, of course, I think this cover art just sold a few extra million copies. It's certainly the main reason I'll be buying the DMG now.

The real question is... do they have it in 'em to make it Epic! Also on the topic of Muppet crossovers...

D&D (2024) New Dungeon Master's Guide Cover Features Venger (From the D&D Cartoons)

I like the idea of differentiating between the 2014 and the 2024 books as Black spine / Red spine I wonder if that'll catch on.

    Most Rewatchable MCU Movies

Unpopular opinion: The two most rewatchable films for me were Captain Marvel and The Eternals. Both have major plot elements revealed more than half way through the film that change your perception of what was happening. Which made them more rewarding to re-watch for me.

I think it was more of an attempt at humour then an air-tight thesis. But honestly, Sweetums is one of the most suited to the Mad Max world.

For what it's worth, you could see Furiosa first and then watch Fury Road.

This reminds me that I saw someone say you could replace Demetus' henchman with muppets in Furiosa and it would be the same film...

    Furiosa

I saw the film today. Initial thoughts are that Fury Road was a better film, but not by much. It’s just hard to top the original for relentless action spectacle. That being said, Furiosa was probably my favourite of the two, in terms of what it offers in the way of world building and story...

Wizards Goes Big with Vecna: Eve of Ruin

Yeah, I think they work even better if you mix a couple of the books together, just as an example... SKT Icewind Dale : rime of the frostmaiden Bigby's: Glory of the Giants/Volos Guide to monsters Creates a nice little sandbox that DM's can work together.

Wizards Goes Big with Vecna: Eve of Ruin

I totally agree, your second paragraph was what I was trying to get at. I feel like it's the negativity that has nothing to do with the product at hand that gets the most pushback. It can also undermine genuine criticism when it's just the same broken records playing the same tunes why they...

Wizards Goes Big with Vecna: Eve of Ruin

They were the examples that seemed to get the most pushback from what I could see, which was an attempt to illustrate the point that it's mostly the unhinged stuff that people call out. I just feel that the actual valid criticism gets lost in all the generic axe grinding.

Wizards Goes Big with Vecna: Eve of Ruin

Are there actual criticisms of the product? Just to pick a couple of examples from this very thread, starting with your own... This isn't a criticism based on anything said in the review, it's just an attempt to set unrealistic expectations while at the same time preemptively dismissing people...

D&D General When did you leave D&D? Why? For what game? And what brought you back?

I left not long after 3.5 came out (I didn’t buy 3.5, was still using 3E books). I wasn’t really enjoying 3E as much as 2E and was struggling to find people to play with since moving from the country town I’d grown up in a few years earlier. I also decided to focus on my art and started having...

D&D (2024) Greyhawk Confirmed. Tell Me Why.

I played an Aasimar paladin that worshiped a God a wine and festivals, I referred to him as a 'party paladin'. It was so much fun to play.
