In 3.0/3.5/3.Pathfinder, if I had an Artifact with a +234 modifier, what Immortal Rank would be able to have that Artifact as one of its four, and what Immortal Rank would be able to have that Artifact as its only one?

The only reason I ask is because I heard on this board that artifacts can have Divine/Cosmic/Transidental/Omnific abilities, and I don't know what those would cost to add on to artifacts.

I know there are some rules for artifacts, but I'm not sure where they are all located (in the books and on the net). Could someone help me out here?

No, they did not have it in the first Monster Manual in 3.5, though some undead in later books, like MM3 and after I think, did have charisma to hit points/HD.

They do provide a nice challenge compared to the normal skeleton/zombie templates, the only thing different is plethora of immunities that they get as undead, some stat boosts, and the biggest, the HD changes that they get could be good or bad depending on how big the original creatures HD and...

What you could do is have ECL still, but as what determines level based effects, like BAB, saves, caster level (maybe). That way, your Barbarian/Fighter will have a BAB of about 13, instead of 20.

Is there any way that your houserules could be put into a word file, because what it's linking me to will not work. I'm looking at this at my libraries computer so that might also be a problem. Also, thanks Hrothgar! :D
