D&D General What it means for a race to end up in the PHB, its has huge significance

I expect that most players will assume they are available to them. However, races being in the PHB has no bearing on which PC races I allow in a campaign.

For myself, he has the wrong physical build for Banner.

I like Mark Ruffalo as an actor. Visually, though, I have a hard time accepting him as Banner.

    Most Rewatchable MCU Movies

I am with you. Thor: Ragnarok did not do it for me either. The only Thor movie that did was the first movie. I don't have it on my list of MCU movies to buy, but probably should.

    Most Rewatchable MCU Movies

I, really want to put Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse and Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse into the #1 and #2 spots. However, they are not considered part of the MCU. Therefore, I will go with the following: 1-3 (positions vary based on mood): Captain America: Winter Soldier, Iron Man...

D&D 5E Looking for some solid DnD 5e home brew classes.

If you don't have it, I would suggest also looking at Green Ronin's Witch's Handbook by Steve Kenson. It is for 3e, but it is still my favorite take on the witch for any edition of D&D.

D&D 5E Looking for some solid DnD 5e home brew classes.

I was going to mention that Kibblestasty's Psion (I think that was the class name) looked good. I meant to mention it in my prior post, but I was pressed for time as I was leaving for a medical appointment.

D&D 5E Looking for some solid DnD 5e home brew classes.

I don't know how they are in play, but here are some others you might want to give a look as they are well reviewed: Alchemist by Taron Pounds (Dungeon Masters Guild) Complete Alchemist by Mage Hand Press (Drivethrurpg) Scholar by Kyle Grant (Dungeon Masters Guild) Scholar by Benjamin...

Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

From online video looks and the playtests, The books are beautiful and there is a lot I like. I like race being replaced with Lineage and Heritage. I also like the changes to backgrounds (even if not some of the name changes), Talents, multiclassing remaining optional, and some other things I...

D&D General So, how much did/do you use psionics?

Actually, Gary Gygax has stated that he regretted putting psionics into the game and that he did not use them (much like he regretted including and did not use weapon vs. armor modifiers) .

D&D General So, how much did/do you use psionics?

In 1e, I think it showed up once or twice in campaigns I was in. I never used it in campaigns I ran as I did not like the rules. 2e: For 2e, psionics was used in a Dark Sun campaign that I played in and one that I briefly ran. I was not a fan of the 2e mechanics for psionics, but found them...

What games, currently, have your interest?

The thread about D&D 5e interest, got me thinking about games that, currently, do have my interest and wondering what games, currently, have the interest of others. For myself, Superhero RPGs Icons: Assembled Edition Mutants & Masterminds 3e/ DC Adventures/ and the upcoming Valiant Adventures...

D&D General What Classes Would You Add to D&D?

Off the top of my head Alchemist: split off from Artificer and leaving the Artificer as the inventor/craftsman class. Arcane Warrior: The fighter/arcane caster hybrid class. Bladesingers, Duskblades, Eldritch Knights, Spellswords. Beastmaster: The Dar, Ka-Zar, Sheena, Tarzan class. Courtier (to...

D&D (2024) How excited are you for the new 2024 edition d&d?

I wonder how many people are not resistant to change, but simply dislike most or even all of the specific changes seen from WOTC and, yet, use or are willing to use third party material more to their liking. Personally, I found very little of interest to me in both Xanathar's and the playtest...
