The VOIDRUNNER'S CODEX is coming! Explore new worlds, fight oppressive empires, fend off fearsome aliens, and wield deadly psionics with this comprehensive boxed set expansion for 5E and A5E!
Eehhhhh no dragon on the screen, lean less into sci-fantasy. (just my 2 cents)
Otherwise looks fantastic!
I'm super curious how burst fire weapons work.
Troll Lord already did the tribute covers and they're fantastic, for Castles & Crusades.
[edit] this was already mentioned. D'oh! Sorry for the repeat. Delete if possible.
We had a great time with a vagabond, mind melter, power armor guy and a line walker. The lack of balance is a feature not a bug. Anything and any style can be played.
I have the Cypher System Bestiary, it's fantastic. There are several extra fold out pages, a really cool presentation that I've not seen before in gaming or in a bestiary.
One downside is that there are a few entries that are duplicates from the Cypher System Rulebook. They're expanded, so...
It's too bad that Steve Jackson is so tight fisted with the GURPS property. More licensing of the system, more support of third parties publishing supplements would have gone a long way towards keeps GURPS on something besides life support.
I could swear we've been here before.....the highlights are mine.
Die Vecna, Die is more of a campaign than a mere adventure, and it’s arguably the most ambitious thing ever put out for Second Edition AD&D. Die Vecna, Die is no mere adventure, but a massive undertaking for high level...
Now we'll have three separate systems for Planet of the Apes styled rpgs:
Apes Victorious - OSR
Terra Primate - Unisystem
Planet of the Apes - D6 System
D6 does have a decent following, curious if the combination of the IP and rules will bring out the fans.
Totally agreed on the Sienkiewicz...
These are all new. The 1st edition supplement, Ruins of the North, was the adventure companion book to the Rivendell region guide.
Completely different set of adventures.
The custom dice aren't necessary. They're fun, but not required, and the ST: A book on page 74 has this table:
D6 RESULT
CHALLENGE DICE RESULT
1
1
2
2
3
0
4
0
5
1, plus Effect
6
1, plus Effect
Or they are just not telling the truth.
Possibly hoping to keep it as more of a surprise launch? (which doesn't make much sense either as it wouldn't be a secret when books start arriving at their distribution points)
Also, what neat surprises might they have in store for D&D's 50th...
