Yeah, I think people forgot that the point of that thread was to not make a negative comment at all, and replace it in the "i didn't comment" thread with a different fun comment to defuse one's own irritation. It wasn't really supposed to be a place to just mutter something under your breath...

Prince Valiant is often highly recommended, but it's so long out of print and the second edition was such a small run that the game is still practically impossible to find legitimately. It might be nice if that engine was available as a more generic retroclone.

They're immediately recognizable to GenX, sure, but as characters they're still usable by anyone young or old. It's not like a DM needs a special GenX Identicard to put Venger into an adventure or something.

Well that's awkward, sorry about that. I know that a long time ago (ie, early 3e days) Phillip Reed did a few little publications focusing on non-magical treasure, which seem to all got wrapped up into The Book of Unusual Treasure. But it doesn't appear to be available anymore, not even as PDF...

I enjoy Luka Rejec's art in Ultraviolet Grasslands; as well as Andrew Kolb's illustration for his Neverland and (especially) Oz setting books. Absolutely agree. I was going to say the same of Brom for Dark Sun.
