This is the impression I am getting. Chasing after a 'feeling' in a hobby can get expensive in regards to either time, energy, or money. If its not working, take a step back.

I think a Red Dragon stands in for the whole lineage of D&D, but that includes Pathfinder, or other 'not 5e' games at this point. Therefore, Beholder is what I would go with.

Because it evokes an immediate reaction emotionally, and isnt just the same old 'here's a party in hero pose' thing like the main PHB art.

Only issue is the bar code. I'm sorry but please, if they could find a better solution that would be great.
